Another important point in car radiator maintenance is to ensure that the hoses are in good condition. There are times when the hoses become loose and the fluid leakage is there, causing the engine to overheat. So better keep an eye on the hoses and change them according to manufacturer’s guidelines. 

Lastly, flush out the old coolant according to owner’s manual recommendation or as when required. Flushing out the coolant will help you get rid of contamination and it will protect the radiator, making it work effectively.
